Question: Im fixin to make green bean casserole... but I opened up moms pantry and found myself with a question. What are "Dill Green Beans"? I mean are those goin to taste like regular canned green beans I usually eat?!?
Please my parents are out of town...

Dill is the same herb used when making dilled pickles. I probably would not use dilled beans with the mushroom soup in this casserole, but you could probably try it. Dill can have a pretty strong flavor, so I don't think that flavor will be covered up if you use them in this recipe. I heat them alone in a pan, drained, and then with butter and lemon juice on them. That would be really good! Forget the casserole if that is all you have.

They probably have dill in them, so they will taste like dill pickles, that will not work for green bean casserole, why don't you try opening up one and see what it's like

They will taste of dill, so they will taste different to plain green beans.

You could drain them well and then rinse them well. That will get off some of the dill taste. I'd skip the casserole and just heat and serve the beans.
