Does anyone have any good recipes??!

Question: Anybody have any good yummy recipes for christmas squares, or yummy christmas treats? I am going to start my christmas baking soon and would like to try some new recipes. Please don't give me links to recipe sites, I know I can go there and look. I would like recipes that people have actually made and love. Thanks very much!!!

I got this recipe online awhile ago, and it's so delicious, it should probably be illegal. It's a great bar cookie for Christmas cookie exchanges or for at any time of the year!

Taffy Apple Bars

1 package (18 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 package (18 ounces) refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large apples, cored, peeled and chopped (3-1/2 to 4 cups)
1 cup chopped peanuts
1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 13X9-inch baking pan. Let both packages of dough stand at room temperature about 15 minutes.

Combine both doughs and flour in large bowl; beat until well blended. Press dough evenly onto bottom of prepared pan. Spoon apples evenly over dough; press down lightly. Sprinkle with peanuts.

Bake about 35 minutes or until edges are brown and center is set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Drizzle with caramel topping.

My mom always made these things called magic bars... and they were SOOOOO good... I make them every christmas as gifts for people around the office and for people like my UPS guy, the mailman, garbage collectors, neighbors and they all LOVE them. Here's the recipe.

Ingredients
----------------
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
2 cups (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions
-----------------
Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for glass dish). In small bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and butter; mix well. Press crumb mixture firmly on bottom of 13X9-inch baking pan.
Pour condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture. Layer evenly with remaining ingredients; press down firmly with fork.
Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars or diamonds. Store leftovers covered at room temperature or wrapped with some wax paper in a pretty cookie tin, they make excellent gifts!
