Potato Candy?!

Question: My aunt makes potato candy every year around Christmas, and I thought I would try this year, cause it seems very simple. My only question is, when making the mashed potatoes, should I use the traditional milk and butter, or is it okay to use milk and sour cream?

I wouldnt use the sour cream...but the milk would be fine...my grandmother sprinkled powder sugar on a piece of waxpaper then pressed her potatoes out flat...added a layer of peanut butter then more powdered sugar...then she rolled it up and cut it into slices and froze it....God what memories you just brought back!

Why don't you ask you aunt; she makes it every year. I never even heard of it!

I wish I could help you but we use an actual potato.
