Who do you like better from foodnetwork giada or racheal?!
Answers: tell me why who do you think is better/food and plz dont base it on iron chef when they vs each other.is rahceal or giada more expirensed?
Rachel is a bit annoying, but I bet she wouldn't be if she wasn't always trying to squeeze three to five dishes into 30 minutes. At least you feel like you could have a beer with her and have a good time. Giada does have more food knowledge, but I agree, her accent is annoying. Just listen to her say "spaghetti" more than once....
Giada is a trained chef Rachael is not. I like both actually
I like them both. Sometime their recipes look good and sometimes their recipes look disgusting.
rachel gives you more in the way of personality......giada gives more in the way of training. but paula dean can take them both!
I like Giada just for the fact Rachael is too annoying
I like Rachel better. She cooks more like a home cook would. And comes up with great recipes from simple things.
Giada is too phony....I hate when she does her [phony] Italian accent.
Yes, she [Giada] has more cooking education but more for restaurant cooking.
I dislike them both equally.
I dislike them both ....... I prefer Paula Deene
giada - her recipes are fabulous!
Giada is my favorite hands down, she is more down to earth and talks to the tv audience like adults, racheal is so condesending and calls all her audience kids, and that drives me nuts considering i am a little older than her... she also lately has been taking the food networks chefs meals and making them her own like she created them and i dont like that... giada is more experienced and more enjoyable to watch to me...
Neither.
Giada's dishes seem to be the kind of dishes I'd like to use to showcase my culinary abilities, or when I need the wow factor.
Rachel's dishes seem like the kind I'd use for large groups.
Rachel's cooking and personality have improved over the years, as would be expected. And the great thing about her is she does things her way, regardless of what every one else thinks. Gotta respect that, even though I can't stand her.
Depending on what I have to cook determines which cooking style I more closely resemble.
If I took away their cooking shows, and only went on recipes, I'd want Giada's cookbook. Rachel's seem like I could think of them myself just by looking at what I have in the cupboard. But I'd probably end up using more of Rachel's recipes.
But if I have to watch them, Giada... its umm... well... she's hotter...
Don't get me wrong, but every recipe that I've tried of Rachel Ray's has taken me a minimum of 45-50 minutes to get on the table.......she "assembles" food more that has a definite recipe for ("olive oil, once around the pan") and aside from her incessant giggling, her recipes are pretty straightforward.....I couldn't believe though, that some people with nothing better to do have actually created a website
RACHELRAYSUX is beyond me...........
Now to Giada.....culinairily trained, but she's really going off the name, De Laurentiis, the famed director, her grandfather.......Again, don't get me wrong, but Italian food everyday?? I'd look like a blimp, for one thing......and she has the genes (damn her!!!) that she can eat anything and stay slim..........I hate that!!! (just kidding)
At any rate, love em or hate em, they've both made their mark on the Food TV circuit, and I have to give them kudos for that.......It's a tough gig......
Christopher
Giada no question. And how can you say someone's accent is phony if they are actually from that country? Look up phony in the dictionary and you will find Ray's picture (SEE ALSO annoying)
I don't think either one are that great.
