How can I spice up my mom's soup?!

Question: Yesterday my mom made a soup with some vegetables and pieces of chicken. The soup is okay, but its missing spices. What are some spices other than salt that will make the soup taste even better?

thanks :]

  • Sage.... or rosemary.... those are excellent herbs with chicken

Try Poultry Spice, Paprika, Cayenne, Black or Red Pepper.
Tabasco sauce, garlick salt, Lawrys Spice Blend, sugar,

Saute some diced onions and garlic, and add to soup. Chop fresh parsley and throw that in, too. You'll love it!

    Parsley; lemon and herb seasoning
    or
    Basil, oregano

    Try some chicken boullion.

Here are two different recipes your mom can use in the future. How about printing them out for her:

celery salt helps chicken soup a lot. Curry might be good too.

Try using powdered chicken soup base. or Vegita--- but only use one teaspoon at a time . Stir and taste.

    garlic ,

*** A little old Jewish woman told me to put a bay leaf in every pot of soup no matter what kind and she's right it makes the best flavor

chicken soup? next time drop in a bay leaf, but don't eat it, just use it for flavor

Add some Franks Red Hot sauce, not to much though, just taste as you add!
