freezing choclate doesnt do anything. just makes it harder and colder

I put chocolate in the freezer all the time and it's fine.

Of course you can...just make sure it is sealed air-tight.

you cna freeze chocolate. i do it all the time to chocolate bars to keep them from going bad. i dont think it would be very good to freeze brownies. they'd probably get all nasty

you can freze brownies and all kinds of chocolate and it is fine. If you let it defrost it looks the same as any other chocolate.

If you freeze a chocolate bar it will be slightly discolored when thawed, possibly kinda blotchy. I think you can freeze brownies though. A lot of restaurants that serve brownies for desserts are actually shipped to them frozen.

chocolate shouldn't be frozen or refrigerated, the dramatic temp change causes it to change. The flavor and quality may change; but if your not using it for baking or cooking, then chilling it shouldn't be a problem.

as far as flavour, it will have no effect on it whatsoever... the appearance will change slightly... when chocolate is exposed to any temperature change, (either heat, or cold) it will leave white(ish) spots on the outside. these in no way change the taste, or quality of the chocolate. you can either go ahead and use it to cook with, or if you are using it as a presentation, where it will be displayed, you can simply rub a bit of oil over the white spots to remove them.
