How do you cook chicken breasts in a crockpot w/o them drying out?!
Answers: I don't eat anything on the bone and I realize that the extra fat in bone-in chicken has a higher fat content and keeps the chicken moist. Is there anyway to slow cook chicken breasts w/o them drying out?
chicken brest will not be dry, it will automatically be juicy, it will need no water, the thing is not to cook to long or not to use enough seasoning. so you wat to season well, seasoning salt, or galic salt, or use cream of chicken soup, it will make a great sause and flavor the chicken, DO NOT COOK TOO LONG, it will taste like card board.
I would suggest maybe putting them in the cooker with some chicken broth. I'm not sure about this one, but it might also work if you marinate them ahead of time. I don't know; I'm not that knowledgeable about crockpots. Hope this helps!
Put them in with a cup or so of water.. you can add some seasoning to it also, salt pepper and poultry seasoning... They SHOULD fall apart when they are cooked through.. you can add some veggies to it too that should help keep moisture in.
I made chicken the other day in my crockpot.I just added a cup of chicken broth and seasonings, they turned out great.
cook them in chicke broth with lots of veggies.
sounds like the heat is too high or you are cooking it too long
I use my slow cooker for boneless/skinless chicken breast all the time. Season chicken with salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and some chives. Use a small can a chicken broth and cream of chicken soup. Mix all together and pour over chicken and cook all day on low for not more than 8 hours, It will not be dry. You can add vegy if you like.
