What do you do with edamame (soybeans in the pod)?!

Question: I love the stuff and eat it in its simplest form - push it out into my mouth.

Has anyone come up with another way of eating this tasty veggie?

Sautee in Olive Oil , with pinch of garlic and a touch of sea salt.

Oh jeez, I have all the time!
I LOVE THEM!
As a matter of fact...I'm going upstairs to my fridge right now!
:D
Happy eating!

If pod is fresh, then steam them. Eat them whole. You might try a touch of sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on them for flavor enhancement.

I usually just eat them as-is, steamed, lightly salted, out of the pod. You can also mash 'em up with some chopped veggies and mayo for sandwiches (think of them as a tuna substitute).

Cant say I love them as I am a meat eater and not much on veggies and my mother would and still tries with no luck.

You know I am a supporter of global warming and drive gas hogs and must keep the red meat in style so they emit more carbon then we do with their flatulence.
