How do you store your Christmas cookies when you bake them from Thanksgiving till Christmas?!

Question: My Mother in law stores hers in tins but I don't have enough tins to keep each type of cookie in a seperate one and I don't want them all to start tasting alike. Will ziplock bags work? Will they still be crisp or would that soften them? I can't rebake them to crisp them up because many are dipped after baking in chocolate and have sprinkles added. I want to bake two different types each weekend so we have a huge variety.
Thank you!

I usually just store them in tupperware type comtainers with paper towel between layers. I freeze them, or being from Michigan, sometimes just keep them in the garage where it is cold.

Yes,use as many tins as you have then whatever is leftover wrap them in foil then put them in ziploc bags.

I would say ziploc them and put them in the freezer or fridge. Be careful with the freezer tho because if they get freezer burn they won't taste the same.

Z,L, - - ok but add paper towels to keep them from sticking together
you can get tins at the thrift stores and yard sales...
spray paint a new color IF need be

my mother often baked ahead of time and then stored the cookies in a large glass jar with a slice of apple with them in order to retain moisture. the apple slice dries out but somehow does not effect flavor and keeps the baked goods from drying out. pretty cool!
