"Everybody wants this recipe when I take them in for a carry-in. To make them award winning, my daughter, Tegan, made them for a cookie baking contest and won a red ribbon! You can use any flavor pudding you like for this recipe."

the best cookies ever!!! this was published as the infamous neiman marcus cookie recipe. they are so delicious! i use butter-flavored crisco instead of margarine when i make them. I've made it with hershey bar for the grated chocolate (one year I found godiva chocolate bars on sale and used one instead - so good!) I usually use ghiradelli chocolate chips. Now this is half of the original recipe, so it doubles easily if you need more cookies!! I usually make mine on the bigger side, so I get about 40-45 cookies from this.

1/2 cup butter (use real butter - no match in flavor!)
1/2 cup crisco or margarine
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups blended oatmeal**
12 oz. chocolate chips (use a good quality chocolate chip!)
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 oz. chocolate bar (grated)
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts (I like pecans in this recipe!)

** Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder.

Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 56 cookies.

Ingredients:
180 butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1.5 cups SR Flour
250g packet choc chips.

1. Beat butter and sugar until creamy,
2. BEat in condensed milk.
3. Add flour, stir until combined.
4. Add choc chips, mix well.
5. Roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls, place on greased oven trays, press gently with fork.
6. Bake 10 min or until golden at 180 degrees.

Hope this helps
