What do u have?!

Question: In ur salad??

Answers: In ur salad??

1.Thinly sliced tomatoes and onions with a dressing of equal parts of olive oil and balsamic vinegar drizzled over just before serving.
2. I boiled egg per person..peel and halve each egg, mash the yolk into a smooth paste with about half a tsp of mayonnaise per egg and a tiny pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper, spoon the mixture back into the whites and serve on shredded lettuce leaves.
3.one honeydew melon per four people ..or half each for a main course, scoop out all the melon in balls or cubes and put into a large bowl with a jar of prawn-cocktail sauce and a bag of thawed and well drained prawns; serve one shredded lettuce. Sounds awful but tastes wonderful.
4.two shredded carrots and 2 ounces of skinless, unsalted peanut, mix together and drizzle over enough vinaigrette dressing to coat......two parts oil (sunflower or olive) with one part white vinegar (or any you prefer) and a quarter teaspoon or less of mustard..stir vigorously and use at once or else remember to give it another good stir before you do use it.
5. Drain a jar of pickled ( not in sweet vinegar) beetroot..use freshly pickled if you prefer..and chop it up into small dice, finely dice half an onion and mix with the beetroot then stir in a couple of spoons of mayonnaise. Delicious with pork; gammon or spicy chicken.

what ever takes my fancy, some times i"ll add fruit or nuts, sometimes i add a little spice with different peppers

I don't like salad or salad type foods. I'm also not fussed on fruit and only several vegetables.

My salad consists of finely grated cheese and carrot mixed together (it is HEAVEN!), and a few slices of beetroot on the side.

I have a seven layer salad and it is the best . I have the recipe and would be glad to share if you would like it then just email me and I will share it . good luck and happy cooking .
