Does this cookie sound good?!
(I asked this question before but nobody answered if it sounded good)
Answers: I dont like raisins so I'm thinking of making oatmeal craisin (dried cranberries) with slivered almond cookies. I want a cookie that is like trail mix. Does this sound good? Should I add yogurt chips as well?

You can add anything to oatmeal cookies. Its a great idea. If you want to keep them soft, throw a banana in the mix. Hydrate your dried fruits in a bit of orange juice, 3 min. in the microwave, for extra flavor.
I like trail mix, have to have M&Ms on it though. I would say it would be good with yogurt chips to.
good good good good good crunchy =]
I think it sounds good because I also don't like raisins.
I wouldn't add the yoghurt chips, though.
Good luck!
It all sounds good, except for the yogurt chips...I don't care for those, but as long as you like them, it would make a really good cookie!
it sounds delicious. skip the yogurt chips, I don't like those
its sounds great. mayeb do some with the yogurt chips and some without.
I don't really like almonds but this would sound like a good cookie. I hope you can make it.
no chips... but the cookie sounds great!
Mmmmm sounds great! I'm hungry now..........
There is only one way to find out. Just make 1 batch and try it.
That sounds really yummy!
do you have a particular recipe or are you just throwing stuff together???
I say just try it and find out!!!
It sounds pretty good, yes. I don't think I've had yogurt chips before. Maybe you should make half a batch with them and half a batch without them, to see what happens. Experimentation is good!
yeah it sounds good my mom would love some of those!
to be honest it sounds kinda weird but it would really depend what you friends relatives or etc. like to eat
That sounds really yummy, add the yogurt also.
I made cookies just like that from a recipe on the back of the craisins box... it called for white chocolate chips as well... they were yummy!
Love it...I hate rasins too. plahhh!
Cranberries are the best alternative they have that nice Tart taste to them.
U can also go with Pecans, add some Flax, sesameseed...
Go for it!
I just made oatmeal and craisen cookies over the weekend. They are delicious, but your addition of almonds sounds yummy too, plus healthy. Go for it!
Sounds good to me. I would go ahead and try it and if it isn't good, you will know next time what to change or not change
Well if you are cooking for a young person, than you should make something a little sweeter! But for older people that seems like a quick tasty treats!
The oatmeal craisin one sounds good to me.... maybe some white choc. chips?
Not too sure about the trail mix one... do a Google search for "Hermits"... they were a popular cookie in the 70's that were a lot like Trail Mix to me.......
That sounds really good actually, have a great time baking =)
Yes, I have also used the cranraisins successfully, forget the yogurt chips in this one.
it sounds good but on the safe side make a small batch of them if u like them make more sometimes its good 2 experience different food
Sounds delicious.
Sometimes almonds burn easily if they are too finely slivered.
Sounds yummy, though.
My mom has made cookies that sound similiar to that and they were good. I would probably leave out the yogurt chips though.
Thats sounds GREAT!
I think I just found a new cookie! I have never liked raisin cookies, because cooking raisins takes the flavor out of them. This sounds yummy. I think the yogurt chips would be to much. But some one else might not.
That sounds like an excellent cookie. Instead of using the yogurt chips, perhaps use organic dark chocolate chips instead. The bitter flavor of the dark chocolate would play nicely off the tartness of the dried cranberries and it is chock full of anti-oxidents that make it very healthy. You can also think of using dried cherries too, which would give a nice ballance of flavor!
