jennie, everyone seems to be giving you the right advice. the only thing i can add in is with a 12 quart bunte pan bake towards the lower part of your oven, a lot of your recipes say center, which is correct, but with the height of your pan when the product rises in your pan it puts it near the top of your oven where its hotter. also make sure you wait 10 or 15 min. before you turn your cake out, your pan is much thicker than a regular cake pan and holds the heat longer, and also make sure to use a wire rack as usual. another thing if calls for a glaze, i use a pastry brush to apply it with, you can get a lot smoother appication than just pouring it on. good luck and good baking, bacondebaker

Just grease or butter the pan and your good to go. I have done it many times and it comes out fine.

You don't really have to do anything different just bake it longer. Most boxes will give you the temperature and baking time if you're using a bundt cake pan.

I would grease and flour the pan. And, since the pan is new, if you haven't yet, make sure it is washed and dry before using.
The only things you would need to change are your baking time (it's on the box) and if you are at a high altitude, follow the instructions.

Happy baking.

nope on back of the box it will tell you if the time is different

the cooking time and greasing process which should be on the box
