Who (and why) did someone put jam (jelly) with peanut butter.?!

Question: i personally can't stand this, purely because I don't like peanut butter. What I don't understand is why anyone would ever have thought of putting them together....ikk!!! :p

One would think that the combination of sweet and savory would taste good. The sweet and savory sensations BTW, stimulate differing regions of the tongue.

oh its loverly, in fact i had it on my toast this morning :D

I like it but thought it sounded all wrong before I tried it. If you think about it though lots of sweet and savoury foods are mixed. Apple sauce with pork, mint sauce with lamb, cranberry with turkey, the list goes on and on.

Love peanut butter, not with jam.

If you don't like Peanut Butter, you are on a loser to start with; I must say that on it's own I don't like the texture of it, but with jam I love it. My husband likes to eat it with either cucumber or sliced tomato. Now that's gross!!!

Perhaps it's a sweet/sour thing
All I know is that I love peanut butter with cheese on a butty

don't know who thought of it but i am glad they did, sounds disgusting, tastes gorgeous, try jam and cheese as well, this is good too.

Don't know who...if I knew....I would like to thank them.. Why? YOU ASK! Because it is "great " together.. Peanut butter in my house is a staple, it is right up there with things we have to have..Peanut butter is loaded with protein, same thing as eating meat, which is healthy..Now its loaded with oil, but what the hell, its good anyway...

Don't know but I'm glad they did!

I think he must have used Jelly (or jam) to stop the peanut butter from sticking to the roof of his mouth Yuk!! It is nice with Lemon Marmalade though.
