Is anybody eating Venison this week?!
Answers: I am YUMMY!!!
Yes. My family has venison an average of 8 meals a week. We get to avoid hormone additions, inspect the meat thoroughly upon harvesting and enjoy knowing what we are eating! We don't have to add things we cannot pronounce to our cured meats, either.
We also utilize the typically unwanted parts of animals such as the hide, dew claws, hooves, bones and antlers/horns.
Tonight, a lovely moose roast with garlic mashed potatoes, salad (always!), rye rolls with caraway seeds, steamed broccoli and for dessert, apple crumble.
No!!
Not my thing
No, I'm a vegetarian and stickin to it.
Cant afford it. It's too deer.
Probably.
Have a freezer full at home.
The area I live in is crawling with deer, so it makes sense.
I don't believe Ive ever had venison. I never see it at the market, and I don't live rurally enough for anyone to go out and shoot one down for me.
Yes I have already had some & will eat stew tonight. Yes Yummy!!!
YEP!LAST NIGHT AS A MATTER OF FACT AND SATURDAY NIGHT.LOVE IT YUMMY!
Hell yeah, i eat as much meat as I can. To the ire of PETA. I killed an animal last weekend and I'm going to eat his bloody tasty flesh tonight. MMMMMmm MMM good.
Chicken fried backstrap with some Louisana Hot sauce marinated first is the bomb, esp. at the deer camp.

No...and it grieves me! Venison is a renewable resource for us carnivores... and it tastes so good! I miss it. When we lived up North, we enjoyed it so much. Down here in fishing country... mmmmm... well... it's good.... but it's not the same!

No, I doubt I'll see my dad for a couple weeks. And even then, he usually just gives me a think of deer sausage and thats it. THANKS DAD
Yes, just used smoked deer sausage in my left over turkey & sausage gumbo. Also had green onion breakfast sausage, the patty kind, that was really good with biscuits & jelly.
I took a shot, but only found a few hairs where the blinkin' buck had been. Mighty thin soup, that'll make!
