Pasta Salad.
Mix cooked pasta (I use bow ties) with chopped red onions, chopped black olives, chopped pepperoni, chopped mozzarella or feta cheese. Mix with fresh parsley and bottled Italian dressing. Serve chilled.

Deviled eggs?

a salad??

buy tortillas, and some spicy cream cheese. you could also buy some thin meats from the deli. spread the cream cheese in the tortilla, add meat if you want. wrap into a cylinder, and slice. It's actually pretty damn good.

Tuna Macaroni Salad
All you need is Tuna, Elbow Macaroni, Mayo, Green Onions, Hard Boiled Eggs and a little Lemon Juice

You are in college and I am sure that all the other people will be bringing their mommies recipes which while they are good, they are not that much fun any more. Why don't you make some home made salsa. Just combined chopped tomatoes, peppers, onions, add some garlic (chopped or powdered) and some fresh chopped cilantro. If the salsa doesn't have enough liquid add a little water (one table spoon) if any more liquid is needed use a little tomato juice. Bring chips and people will love it.

what about Broccoli salad
1/2 c mayonaise,1&1/2 tblsp wine vinegar,1/4 c sugar,1 head broccoli,cut into small pieces,1/2 med onion ,1/2 c raisins,1/2 lb bacon fully cooked and crumbled.
Mix it all together . It will get better as it sits in the refrigerator.
good luck and god bless.
