When making egg based custards for quiches flans etc, always use 4 eggs to every 1 pint of milk. That is the golden rule and it will always set for you. Enjoy your quiche !!!

I don't understand...4 milk? 4oz? 4 cups?
I use 6 eggs and about 8 oz milk.
I don't actually measure my milk, i just mix 3 eggs with approx 3 ozs of milk, i then see how it looks and add more as I need to.
It also depends on how much bacon, onion & cheese you put in on the pastry.

I put 3 eggs in a 1 quart pitcher and fill the rest of the way with milk.
