How do you keep the candy sprinkles on the Christmas cookies?!

Question: I don't want to dip them in chocolate first...I'd like just the sprinkles on the tops of the cookies.

You use a egg white wash before baking the cookies then sprinkle the colored sugar on the cookies.
Seperate one egg beat the white with a fork lightly brush each cookie just a bit, sprinkle each cookie with colored sugar and baked for the correct time.

Yea! i have been doing this for over 28 years. Works every time! :)

  • I usually make a glaze of powdered sugar and a tiny bit of milk....you can color it if you like. Brush after cookies cool and everything sticks. If you make it really thin, it will dry nearly clear.

You'd have to put them on before baking - kind of push them into the cookie.

I always eat mine before they have a chance to fall off!

egg white wash or a little water but not much.

    Egg White Wash

    1 egg whisked

    1tbsp of water

mix together and brush on cookies and decorate with sprinkles before baking

i made cookies today and they were great!
