White Christmas without Copha?!

Question: I realise I'm probably clutching at straws here but does anybody have a recipe for white christmas that doesn't have copha (I believe it's called white vegetable shortening in the US) in it? I really don't like the overpowering copha taste I get when I follow a more traditional recipe with copha in it and was wondering if anyone has any ideas. I've tried using less copha but the result doesnt seem to stay "stuck together" as well. :p
