Why are there a bunch of tiny centipede lookin bugs in my uncooked macaroni?!

Question: It was in the cupboard sealed tight and when i poured it in the boiling water, all these tiny ugly bugs started floatin to the top.

Is it ok to drain& rinse til i dont see no more bugs and still eat the macaroni or do I need to go to the store and get new.

I don't want none of your weevily wheat
I don't want none of your barley
I want fine flour in half an hour
To bake a cake for Charley

Yep, you have weevils, throw everything out. And think about where you bought that box, the store is probably infested.

I personally wouldn't eat it. It also could be because you've stored it for a while. Buy small quantities of food.

You have weavels in you dry products. Yes you can eat it because you can wash the pasts off and then boil it, but I would not. You will need to check all your pantry items.like flour, cake mixes, sugars, cerals, pancake mix . If any are buggie you will need to throw it out. You need to empty your pantry and wash it all down.then put all your dry goods in glass,or metal tupperware containers that have a really good seal. If money is a problem then keep the items in the referigerator until you can get the items into a proper container.

it is not advisable to eat food that has had any bugs in it, even if you have boiled and drained it! It would also be in your best interest to check ALL your dried goods in the cupboards as weevils can get into seal packages.
I had them in cereal one time that had been purchased and stored in a plastic container and within 1 week my entire pantry was infested, new unopened packages as well. I had to remove and dispose of all the food in the cupboard and then fumigate the room. It was expensive but that way I was assured they would not be back. My neighbour didn't do that and she had weevils for months.

to help keep these bugs out of your cupboards put bay leaves in your cupboard it helps to keep them away.
