I need a reciepe for easy swedish meatballs?!

Question: something that dos'nt take too long to make thank you.

Answers: something that dos'nt take too long to make thank you.

I am a former chef and there premade ones are great, for the sauce a tin of Campbells Chunky Mushroom soup or there Ready to Eat brand, a bt of sauted onion, fresh or dried dill, extra mushrooms, either tinned or cooked with the onions, a few scrapes of nutmeg and some sour cream in the end for a smoother sauce. I warm the meatballs in the oven cooked the onions and mushrooms add them and the soup to the crockpot, put it on high, add some milk or cream, then the meatballs, down to low and let them go for 2-4 hours even more, then the dill and sour cream just before serving.

I serve them out of my crockpot, it is faster and only one pot to wash, with buttered noodles, rice or even mashed potatos, in Sweden they serve lingonberry sauce with them, it is a small wild cranberry like jelly/sauce, but even just plain cranberry sauce is O.K.

sounds strange but this is an easy meatball recipe although its more sweet and sour

1 bag frozen meatballs
1 jar salsa
1 jar apricot jelly

heat jelly and salsa in pan until warmed through and combined. Add meatballs until warmed through and serve.

You can run to the grocery store; go to the boxed gravy mix aisle and purchase the swedish meatballs mix (it's really good).

2 eggs slightly beaten
1/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 pounds ground beef (Minced)
1 pound ground pork

1. In a bowl combine the first 10 ingredients, crumble meat tover the mixture and mix well, shape into 1 inch balls (Makes about 6 dozen)

2 Place in a single layer in an ungreased 15x10x1-inch bakingpa ns until no longer pink, turning often.

3.Cool, place about 35 meatballs into freezer containers. May be frozen for upto about 3 months.

To use frozen Swedish meatballs, completely thaw in the fridge, in a large pan, prepare the gravy according to directions, add meatballs, cover and cook for 10 mins or until heated through. Remove from the heat and stir in sour cream, nutmeg and pepper. Serve with cooked noodles.
