Put the chicken back in the refrigerator right away, yes it should be fine. Many years ago when we had Ice boxes, foods were allowed to cool at room temp, but with our knowledge of bacteria etc.. it is recommended that food go from the oven, to the refrigerator or to the table to be consumed with leftovers beings refrigerated as soon as possible. cooling at room temp is allowing more time for bacteria to thrive and grow. not a good idea.

no, finish it tonight or toss it. btw, roasting a chicken always does that, that's why those store rotisserie chickens are soo popular. they're cleaner and they don't smoke up your house.

I would wait until it cools before putting it in the refrigerator. Clean out the oven and then tomorrow put it in for the rest of the cooking time. It should be fine.

Did you try to roast it with out putting it into some kind of roasting pan?. You state that later you put into a pan, and you are wondering if it will leak oil again?? Frankly I advise get out and stay out of the kitchen before you burn down the house down or really hurting your-self. Get a mentor.
