Best type of meat to cook roast beef?!


Question: I was wondering the right type of meat to buy in order to cook roast beef. Im talking about the type that is sliced to you by the chef at the re stuarant and is similar to the sliced roast beef from the deli.

Also, Can you buy a half or whole roast beef in the store that is ready to put in the oven after being season?

The two types of beef that are usually sliced by a chef at a restaurant are prime rib and baron of beef.

The best grade is USDA Prime. Shop around. Try different butcher shops and grocery stores. Yes they do sell these ready to go into the oven. If you find what you are looking for send me an e-mail and I'll send you a recipe.
