Well I got oranges in my stockings as well. Now I grew up rather poor. It taught me to appreciate things that I have today and to appreciate really appreciate the taste of an orange. I savored it as a child. Because I was rather poor when I would be in a lunchroom with other kids as a child, I could always smell the orange of my neighbour and envy them as the scent would indeed make my mouth water. Today I still love them.
A lot of fruits have that effect on me. Looooove mango's, the smell of them makes the dribble run down my chin, oh, wait, that happens anyhow, forgot. Nah, most citric es do that for me too.

Yes, I had a naval orange tree in my back yard that had oranges so sweet they were almost like candy. Then minions from the state of Florida came and cut it down along with my 3 other orange trees and my pink grapefruit. :-(
