How many cooks would it take to spoil a broth?!
Answers: Three if they try hard. We had a Friday night tradition of going to a restaurant for a meal on Friday night, after meeting in the pub. I decided to invite everyone back home for an Indian meal. (There was no Indian restaurant in the vicinity). The raita was prepared and the meat dishes cooked, so they only need to be heated up. All I had to do was cook the rice. I had two helpers. I have never had a problem with rice and that first thing I did was put the kettle on to boil the water. (One part rice to two parts boiling water). My Austrian friend said that she just boiled the water, threw in the rice, waited 20 minutes and then drained it. My Swiss friend, who was married to a Chinese said that the water should be up to the first knuckle of your little finger (not practical if the water is boiling). I finally won the day and cooked it my way, but the other two were very skeptical.
Just one. Me
Just one loser with a salt pot and a shaky arm ......
one cook if there rubbish
Just 1 bad cook can accomplish this quite effectively.
