How do you make cream cheese frosting?!

Question: it sounds yummy!

Answers: it sounds yummy!

It is, depending on how you make it. There's different variations. An easy one for me, which I love to top onto my brownies before baking them is this:

16 oz philadelphia cream cream cheese
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs

Wait for the cream cheese to soften. I usually leave it out for 20-30 minutes, mix it, then microwave it for 5 seconds on high. In a mixing bowl, put the cream cheese and sugar in and beat it on low until it softens, about a minute or two. After that, just put in the eggs and just beat it until it's all smooth. Good luck!

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese
* 1 tablespoon warm water
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

PREPARATION:
Beat cream cheese with water and vanilla; gradually add sugar, beating until smooth and spreading consistency. Makes 1 1/2 cups, enough to frost top and sides of a 9-inch square cake or top of a 13 x 9-inch cake.

Have the cream cheese cold, and the butter at room temperature.

8 oz cream cheese
5 tbsps unsalted butter
2 tsps vanilla
2-21/2 cups of confectioner's (powdered) sugar, sifted

Combine a food processor or blender and pulse until just blended. Do not overmix.

16 oz confectioners sugar
8 oz package plain cream cheese at room temperature
1 stick unsalted butter at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 tbsp milk

Mix milk and vanilla together and set aside. Whip butter and cream cheese for at least 60 seconds to make light & airy. Add the 1/3 of the sugar and mix, then the 1/3 of the milk & vanilla mixture and mix. Follow that sequence 2 more times until everything is added. Add various food colorings or cake dyes to make a variety of colors.
