Answers: how to make cookie cutters/ Or what should I do?

Roll them out like little snakes, then two at a time together to form candy canes, wreaths, ornaments, whatever.

Roll into a ball, then press middle with finger and fill with chocolate, jelly, icing, whatever

Roll into a ball and press with the bottom of a pretty glass

Roll two thin pieces into a ball and press, then put a filling between them and make sandwich cookies

use a knife...lol

buy some at walmart

Creativity and a knife?

use a knife
or a wire
it will take longer than jsut useing a cookie cutter so be like a normal lazy person in this world and go to walmart and buy some

either buy them at the nearest dollar store, or make the shapes with a knife- thats what I do. You can be more creative with a knife. Then add sprinkles and stuff.

Cut the dough into the shape you want with a knife.

=]

Make them into circles.

maybe u can make some home made ones w/ wire. or now that i think about it you can make a personal touch by using a knife and making different shapes each time. it will take a while but it will look more interesting. happy holidays!

use a cup make a snowman

If you have different shaped cups, use the open end to cut out different shaped cookies. At the least, you will have Christmas wreath shapes!
Jenny

an empty glass jar
from jam, peanut butter, honey whatever

how many round things do you have in your kitchen

with your hands and a knife. wow are you sure you can cook>

by cutting them freehand, or using different sizes of glasses that you drink out of and turn them upside down and use that as your cookie cutter...also wire coat hangers would do shape them into a shape with pliers and then push it into the dough...

use other objects like a can or jar....
but like others suggested...."creativity and a knife"

what kind of shape do you need to work with?

Use a cup.

I agree with buying them at Wal-Mart and while you're there you could get sprinkles or whatever to decorate your cookies. Also, you can use a knife to get creative or a glass for a circular cookie.

I don't know if this is helpful, but what I do is use a knife to cut out the shape that I want. Just make the details (eyes, mouth, other tiny details) large enough so that when the cookie bakes, they don't close up.

Use a rule and cut into even sized diamonds ?, with a sharp knife.

use wire, cups or

use a knife but its really easy to mess up the shape so dont rush

i think you should just use a cookie cutter

Use a knife and cut out shapes (possibly using a couple of patterns cut from cardboard).

OR use a pizza cutter and cut wavy lines to make decorative shapes.

OR roll dough into snakes and make sticks, pretzel shapes, knots, rings, etc.

OR use a pastry bag or cookie press.

When I don't feel like messing around with cookie cutters, re-rolling wasted scraps, etc. I just roll the dough into a very even square or rectangle and cut the dough with my big kitchen knife or a pizza cutter into even sized squares or rectangles and tell everyone they're "presents."
No one seems to mind.

Any thing u have handy, jars or drinking glasses cups or mugs or sharp knife improvise good luck """"""""""""""""""""""""""

You can use a glass, a jar, anything that you have around the house that has a sharp and deep .

use a sharp tip knife to help you make shapes

well if you only want round cookies flour the top of a glass and use that

you can use the bottom of a cup to make circles. that is how my mother makes her food sometimes.
