Will my cheesecake be not fit for consumption if it is slightly undercooked?!


Question: i cooked it for 35 minutes. most recipes say the middle should be 2-3 inches of jiggle, mine is abut 4-5. please help :)

It will still be good too eat... If you cooked as directed & your oven is working properly, It will firm up as it cools. You never want to over cook cheesecake. It will become dry & crack when cooling.

Cook it longer so the cheesecake can set.

You wont be able to cut it ,put it back in the oven to make it set .

Cheesecakes 'harden' as they cool. It will be fine to eat, even if it's a little bit soft.
Personally, most home made cheesecakes are dry and overcooked - I'll be over in an hour after it cools!
