Do meat-eaters salivate when they see animals?!

Question: I have been a vegetarian for about 24 years because the idea of eating flesh is repulsive to me. That is, dead animals simply do not appeal to me as food.

However, when i see ripe oranges, cherries, or a juicy ear of corn, my mouth starts to water and I immediately want to eat it.

So, I wonder if carnivores start to salivate when see cattle grazing in a field, or a pig laying in the mud. What about a dead dear on the side of the road - does that make you say "yum"? How about a puddle of blood, scabs, or a pile of intestines? Do these things seem appealing as food?
I would think that these kind of things are disgusting even to meat-eaters, so why do they eat them?

Just wondering.

i'm a "carnivore" lol
and not once have i done that...
i view animals as beautiful creatures
i dont look at a cow and think "thats one juicy steak"
that seems demented to me

i am not real big on meat though
i actually nearly vomited at the site of a large "rack of ribs"? in the grocery store. I didnt get meat that day.

if it looks like the animal and its sitting on my plate i cant eat it...
cornish hens... no...thank you
I like my meat boneless and headless no pig roasts for me yuck.

actually when i was a child i thought "pork" and "bacon" were not from a pig. When i found out it was from a pig and that "steak" was from a cow i went vegitarian on my mother for... i'm thinking a year or two. She had to slowly introduce me to meat by HIDING it in my food.

i dont know what i was thinking.. maybe i thought pork was grown from a tree or something.
but CHICKEN... is mearly chicken... and fish is fish...those are obviously animals that you are eating.

but i have to admit i did fantasize about eating a cat once.
the little $h!t ate my thanksgiving turkey...

i do however get all worked up over fresh fruit ;) its so orgasmic sometimes haha

Now that sounds pretty silly if you ask me. I am a meat eater and I have never salivated when I saw a animal or far as a piece of meat goes either.

YOUR A MORON!!!!

I salivate when I walk past the cuts of meat at the butcher shop. Yummmmm.

eww....i never salivate when i see meAT....WHEN YOU SMELL IT ...THATS A DIFFERENT STORY

No. They may imagine food out of that animal, but no.

i dont

yes its disgusting to many. but when I smell a nice cut of roast beef then yes.. water works in the mouth are a go.

but does the sight of putrid rotting vegetables make your mouth water?

no.. it doesn't. does it?

being vegetarian is your choice. you don't have to understand us meat eaters. because to be perfectly honest most of us don't understand vegetarians.

There's nothing wrong with vegetarians, but you don't have to criticize others who aren't. That's ignorant. I do not drool when I see animals but I do eat meat.

sometimes , yeah

especially nice big slabs of fresh beef, kinda bloody, from happy cows

today I was at the store and spent some time admiring the meat, even though I was only buying things ofr my soup

You are being a troll.
You know full well that nobody salivates over live animals, or any of the gross things you mentioned.

Kindly respect MY food choices....I respect YOURS!
Mind your own stomach.

From what I understand it's when you start to 'smell' is when you start salivating. When you smell food or food cooking for example, it activates the saliva & gets your digestive system ready to go to work.

Thanks for advertising your ignorance.I respect a persons right to their own opinion and choices. However stupid analogies and rants, appear to be nothing more than fanatical bull****.
