Lamb...cooking a piece of lamb weighing 775grms say to cook 30mins for every 500grms + 30mins?!


Question: works out at about 1.25hrs. Does this sound right to you? doesn't seem very long to me and maths is not my strong point as dyslexic lol.

I made it an hour and fifteen minutes...approx

500 = 30
250 = 15
25 = 1.5
plus 30
-------
1h 16.5 mins

BTW dyslexia has phuck all to do with math

Your cooking time should be about 45 minutes.

I would use a meat thermometer starting at 45 minutes then at 10 minute intervals Its done when the temp is 72c That way your food safe and it wont burn.

depends if you want it pink if so 1 hour or if well done 1.15 hrs
but I still prefer working in pounds lbs & ozs. and the formula
is 20 mins. to the pound + 20 mins.
775 is 1.7 lbs. 1.7x20 is 34+20 = 54 minutes. Don't forget this is a very small joint of Lamb.
