You just get some merengue, some whipped cream and some strawberries and mush them all up in a bowl! Yum!

Whip up some double cream - as much as you want!
Break up a few meringues roughly and add to cream. Then add strawberries - again as much as you like
mix everything together. ETON MESS

Eton mess came about because the boys at Eton are boys. the school serves this posh afternoon tea and it is served on white table clothes and in fine bone china.
bowls of thick rich cream, strawberries, some times other Berri's and small meringues are placed on the table with the aim being that the boys will serve them like pavlova, but instead they chuck it all together and smash it with a spoon!!!
as i said. boys will be boys.
