Answers: yes, i have tried, don't eat the egg though! it's not the most sanitary way to fry an egg. have fun :]

Yes, but please don't try it on your car, it could ruin the paintjob

if it's hot enough outside, yes, it is possible. It'd have to be 100+ degrees though. (Fahrenheit)

when i lived in florida, a TV reporter actually fried an egg on his car

yes but it makes a mess and i wouldnt eat an egg off of dirty places like that. :-)

I'm not sure, but I was just so charmed by the word "bonnet" I had to post.

I love the British. I really need to go back someday.

Yes totally- i don't know about the sidewalk but the bonnet definately. Not sure where you're from, but in oz, alot of people make a meal in a tin foil parcel and put it under the bonnet (like on the engine) and when they get to their destination lunch is ready lol

Yes, and it is not as messy if you use a pan.

A local television station did just that a few years ago.

Yes,my brothers and I actually fried an egg on the driveway one summer. It did work! The pavement had gotton very hot-like a frying pan!

Yes, I've seen a news reporter fry an egg on the sidewalk.

Ever put your hand on the hood of your car on a sunny hot day? Yes you could cook an egg on it. But don't, not good on the hood or your stomach.
