What goodies scream "Christmas" to you?!
Answers: Cookies, candy, cakes...what confections make you feel festive?
Cut out sugar cookies in Christmas shapes that my kids have loaded with too much sugared decorations, pecan crescents, hand dipped chocolates, gingerbread men, chocolate covered pretzles, egg nog, spiced cider, candy canes, ribbon candy, and a big bowl of mixed nuts still in their shell with a nutcracker and nut picks nearby.
Making White, Strawberry and Lime Divinity with my Grandma. Also my mom's chocolate covered cherries.
Caramel corn (homemade), fudge and thumb print cookies
my nonna's fig cookies (I miss seeing them, never ejoyed eating them though)
Shortbread, mince tarts. And red and green jello with whipped cream - the after Christmas dinner dessert of my childhood.
Christmas-tree cookies, snowman white-chocolates/cookies with icing, christmas-colored fruit-cakes, etc..
Mulled Cider and "snowball" cookies
Peppermint bark and pecan tartlettes
candy canes lol christmas shaped cookies and chocolate covered strawberrys and cherrys and other fruits covered in chocolate lol OH and christmas pudding but of course =]
My Grandma used to always buy those long chains of mini candy canes and hang them from the banister. All of us kids would be pulling off candy canes all day.
Mulled wine always makes me feel Christmas-y. Chocolate liquors. Gingerbread in the shape of Christmas trees. And, pretty obvious I guess; candy canes and Christmas pudding.
