Turkey or roast pork for xmas dinner?!

Question: Whats your favorite meat for xmas dinner..

Answers: Whats your favorite meat for xmas dinner..

Well, if you come to MY house, you may get apricot & white wine roast pork loin, but other than that fuggeddit!
(BTW,you'll find my pork loin recipe on my web page. Just click the link below.)

Our kids are all grown with their own kids, so that means they are in demand at all the in-laws, out-laws, etc. Sooo, at my house we have a very NON-traditional meal cause they're turkey and hammed out by the time they make it to our house.

This year.. T-Bone steaks cooked on my charcoal grill (Back by popular demand.) Sides will include: baked potatoes, salad, rolls & non-alcoholic beverage of choice.

Turkey, but if all the people that are coming like both get both

turkey i find it has more of a taste to it

I am a former chef so listen to me and do as I say. If you take advice from some one who isn't a former chef you must be nuts, so listen good and do what I say or you're bananas. Former chefs like me know this stuff, see, and anyone else, why, they just don't that's all. If it weren't for us former chefs, why, the world would just not cook well, that's all. So listen up and listen up good! Uh, what's the question again?

Oh! Oh, yeah. Hey, if you had turkey for Thanksgiving, it makes sense to go with roast pork for Christmas. More of a treat than turkey part two and a whole different batch of leftovers.

Turkey, its not Xmas dinner if it's something else. You only eat it twice a year and I enjoy it both times.

usually we do the traditional...but seeing how we had a houseful for thanksgiving this year we have decided to go out for japanese dinner..almost like in the movie the christmas story..we are going with some relitive as something fun to do for the holiday and no mess for anyone...small ham at the house for late night sandwiches..

Its always turkey, will be getting free range.
I hope everybody is going for free range!

Prime rib roast, the king of meats for Christmas. Turkey is for Thanksgiving and pork is for New Years in my house.

I favor wet aged prime rib. All the information on preparation is at the link below.

roast beef and yorkshire pudding for xmas dinner. too many turkey dinners up to that point and as we don't eat alot of red meat, this is a meal to look forward too....

We have turkey, roast pork, chicken & ham.

Turkey again this Christmas although I have suggested a Goose for a change. Whatever the choice it is going to be expensive.
