You sure can.......I do it all the time........you can leave it alone, or add water, just make sure the volume of liquid is equal to the total required in the recipe....Enjoy!!!

yes, you can substitute. It will have a slightly different flavor though. Use half evaporated milk to half water. Good Luck.

Yes, you can use evaporated milk in place of regular milk in your cooking but not the other way around - you do not have to add water but if you do, just use equal amounts of evaporated milk and water.
