Ok, it could be chips, or sprouts or?!

Question: whatever.

Have you put all the food you want in the oven, and only had a little left in the packet to go back in the freezer.

Did you decide to put it all in the oven, and not eat it, or freeze it and not use it?

Which is more enviromently friendly?

Do you care?

I do NOT have a freezer. They are NOT environmentally friendly.
You are another person who bangs the drum for keeping the world clean. Then you go out - buy fresh food. Get home - chuck it ALL in the freezer. 15 years later, drag it out of it's ice pack, cook half of the tasteless cr@p you've been hoarding, then bin the other half 'cause ya don't know what to do with it. Well, knock me down with a feather.

FRESH IS BEST.................YES, - - I care......!!!

What rubbish are YOU eating ?

i dont care

only eat leaves and grass out of a trough

I could'nt care a less

I know this may sound a bit silly but, the other day I took a bag of frozen sprouts out of the freezer and thought. Bugger, i don't realy want all of them but I didn't want to put 5 or 6 back in the freezer as it would have meant opening the door again (bit lazy I know), so I cooked the lot. Now you know what's coming don't you ? I didn't eat them all so I recycled the left overs in me compost bin and went out and bought a new bag. Moral of the story. Don't be so tight, how much is frozen veg?

When eating alone I only defrost what I want. If I have guests I will use the entire package rather than freeze a tiny portion. However, after the meal, I will hold in the fridge leftovers for a couple of days. There is rarely enough to go back into the freezer because if it's family visiting they always want to take it home with them. I can't see any connection with the environment here - it's not going into the garbage & I recycle everything I possibly can.

I tend to use it all, rather than put a small amount back and if you cook too much it won't get wasted, as you can either have it for your supper or the next day? and if you are feeling generous, you could give it the many hungry animals, who would be more than happy to see there was no waste......:)

I usually put it back and then every couple of months I have a clear out of near empty packets and cook the lot for tea so we have a fish finger, some chips, some potato wedges, a sausage, some peas etc etc. It makes an interesting change!!

I live on my own and find that there is never any food products for single people so have to use bits and put rest away.but have to use it later.
