Thanks, but I'll pass. Just don't sound like my kind of cookie. Everything looked good until I read 'coffee grinds.' I am a major coffee drinker and have got the grounds in my cup accidently, and I must say, I didn't like them one little bit...Omit them, and use coffee flavoring and then I would give them a try.

i don't think that coffee grinds and butter are not part of a cookie recipe...

Doesn't sound good to me either - 1/4 cup coffee grounds???

Like a few other, except it is instant coffee and you actually brew it before adding to the cookies. If by Grinds your mean grounds you're going to have a mouthful of crap if you try to eat coffee grounds.

It is COFFEE GROUNDS, not grinds.

Sounds good all except for the coffee grinds. You're a big cofee fan, eh?

i don't think you should use coffee grounds. Maybe espresso or coffee flavoring.

You sure not instant coffee? why would you put coffee grinds in a cookie mix?

I agree, coffee grounds in a cookie would be pretty bad. Here's a recipe that would be much better, in my opinon:

Butter a cookie sheet. Set oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together until very light: 2/3 c. sugar 2 tbsp. instant coffee

Add: 3/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/4 c. miniature chocolate morsels (optional)

Mix well. Put on sheets by teaspoonfuls. Depress gently. Bake until edges are firm and tops dry (about 12 minutes). Remove immediately. Makes 36.
