The bacon will make its own.

Do not add anything , just add bacon to a pan, and cook .

just put in pan and fry away bacon will make more than enough on its own.

yeah dont add anything..

Just put it in the pan alone and cook it. Be sure not to have the heat on too high or it can splatter. Congrats on trying something new!

the best thing to do is have a non stick pan first, with the bacon use scissors to snip into the fatty part this will stop it curling, do not use oil or grease as the bacon will release enough to cook in. cook untill desired.

Add bacon to a cold pan, directly from the package, then heat to fry. I prefer to make my bacon in the oven, if I need a large amount...bake on foil @ 350 until done, about 30 mins.

Low heat under the pan. Place the bacon strips in a single layer in pan and let it start frying. Depending how you like your bacon turn when you see it has shrunk in size. Never put grease into pan, the bacon renders its own!

You don't need to add any grease to the pan. If you haven't made bacon before let me give you a good idea. Take a plate and put two layers of papertowel or napkin, then lay out the bacon and cover with another papertowel or napkin. Cook in the microwave for about 3 minutes. Great, chewey, crunchy and no grease popping all over.

It makes alot of it's own...none needed.

The others are right, however, you should take it out of the pan just before you think it's done. It will cook a little more after you take it out. and you don't want to start it too hot or it will curl up.

It will render its own fat, so you don't need to add any. Although I actually did see Rachel Ray cook bacon in olive oil. Of course, she cooks EVERYTHING in olive oil!

I'd cook it on a low or medium-low heat, though ... and be careful, because the grease will pop and splatter!

It will make it's own grease, don't put the heat up to high and watch it closely..

You can also do like someone else suggested and bake it in the oven, it comes out really good with no effort lol =)

** Note** keep a box of baking soda near by when frying in case of a grease fire, Never throw water on it..

All really depends and the pan you are using, is it non stick or metal. nonstick - It makes it own its own with the heat.

Don't put it on high more medium low and wait a couple of seconds for it to get a little hot, then throw on bacon.

do not add anthing, and you don't know unless you ask! Turn your bacon frequently cooking on med, to keep bacon from curling up too much. Also, the bacon that contains a lot of sugar will burn if you cook too high of a temp. If you ever have the opportunity to buy a bacon press, they are great to keep bacon cooking flat and even. My dad taught me how to fry bacon, so it cooks evenly.

It will make it's own grease,No need to put any in there.Start it on med him and turn the bacon often to brown on Both sided.Good Luck and you will get the hang of it.

don't need to add a thing. Start with a medium-low stove- start it cooking over low heat and you won't have a problem with it sticking for the first flip.

Bacon has a HUGE amount of fat, it should require no added lubricant.

You may want to buy some "Pam", or other such low fat, low calorie spray for cooking up other stuff though.

BE EXTREMELY CARE FULL OF WATER WHEN FRYING ANYTHING. It will "pop" the oil at you.

On a lighter note, don't fry in the nude! That popping oil HURTS! LOL

I wish they had Yahoo answers when I first started to cook. I had no one to ask so I started out with half a stick of butter! It's a wonder my husband's heart didn't clog up and stop right there and then.

Put your bacon on a baking sheet and put it in the oven, without any grease. Bake untli it looks brown and done. About 15 minutes in a 350degree oven. No splatters that way and you can`t tell it from fried. Good luck

Don't add any grease, start with a medium temp, and watch it carefully. The first time my husband made bacon, he added oil, put it on high, and walked away~it didn't take long for the house to be full of black smoke.
We like to do bacon on a big electric griddle. You can make a lot at a time, and it's easy to control the temperature.

As the bacon has enough fat there's no need to add more.

Try starting it off in a cold frying pan, turn on the heat, by the time the pan is hot and the bacon is sizzling well, turn the bacon over to cook the other side, you should then be able to turn the heat off and have enough heat left in the pan to finish cooking.

Also, most bacon contains a lot of water so be careful as it will spit a lot. If you buy dry cure bacon, it will not spit so much.

The bacon makes it own. Also, you can use that grease as an added flavor to anything else your cooking.

There will be a TON of grease in the pan from the bacon...bacon is like 75% fat!!!

:)

This is best way to cook bacon..... it comes out nice and flat
and crispy and will be ready to eat in minutes. No need to
constantly rotate the bacon strips,
Simply place a paper towel on a microwaveable plate . lay
the bacon strips on top , cover with another paper towel ,and
" Nuke " for 2 1/2 minutes.
Enjoy

You can also cook it in the microwave. It turns out decently. Just add 45 seconds or a minute to each piece you have in there. Remember to put them on a plate and wrap them in paper towels to absorb the bacon grease. Plate will be hot so be careful!
