I am making meat loaf, new potatoes and aspargus. What is a good desert to go with this meal?!

Question: You probably want something light because you are having meatloaf and potatoes. I would suggest something like a fruit tart or berry trifle. Or even just some sorbet.

Why not go with "Apple Pie", you could also add a scoop of ice cream.

Since that's kind of a filling meal, I would go with a light dessert. Martha Stewart made a really light, fluffy cake on her show yesterday that would probably go good with this meal. You should check out her website, I'm sure the recipe is on there.

carrot cake.

Maybe an apple crisp or pie.

Apple Cranberry Crisp
Yogurt on Fresh Fruit
Trifle

The Gobi, perhaps?

Lime jello with bananas cut up in it.
Can put a glob of cool whip on top.

Something light... Fresh fruit, jello... meatloaf and potatoes is a heavy meal..

Can I come for dinner???? If I was going to be a guest at your house, I'd love to have an apple or pear crisp with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert! :)

A fruit pie. Apple, cherry, and peach are the best.

A cobble with ice ice cream would be good with the meal you are making.
