Can everyone make up a dinner menu for me??!

Question: I just need some inspiration and ideas for what to cook??

I'd go with a soup made from scratch, perhaps one of our favorites,

Roasted Chicken Noodle Vegetable Soup:

4 bone in skin on chicken breasts, roasted your favorite way
(Alternatively, you can use a deli roasted rotisserie bird)

2 ribs celery, roughly chopped
4 carrots, peeled and roughly chopped
1 large onion, roughly chopped

In a LARGE soup pan or Dutch oven, add 2 TBS cooking oil (your choice) and bring to high heat, add veggies and cook for about 5 minutes, till they begin to be aromatic.

To the pot, add 8 cups chicken stock (you may need more or less, depending the thickness you like) and slowly bring to a simmer.....While this is coming to a simmer, shred chicken off bones. When soup comes to a simmer, lower the heat and add chicken and wide egg noodles (again, to your preference), cover and simmer on low for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally......Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.....

Serve with crusty bread and what ever side you feel like you're in the mood for.....

See how easy that was??? Enjoy!!!

Tonight we're having Chicken and Broccoli Garlic Penne.

Cook penne according to package directions. Saute 6 slices of bacon and 3 chicken breasts that have been cut up then remove from pan, but leave the fat. Saute 12 cloves of garlic (I use the pre minced stuff myself) in the bacon fat, for about 5 minutes, add the broccoli (cut into 1 inch pieces) for another 5 minutes or until the broccoli is tender. Add the chicken, bacon, and penne and toss to coat. Add 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and enjoy!

You could serve with warm rolls and a nice wine if you like. I know I'd like.
