Need help with dinner!!!?!

Question: Okay, tonight for dinner Im cooking shrimp and mussles.
Its greenshell mussles in a halfshell. And the shrimp is shrimp cooktail in a bag. I was just wondering if anyone had any good ways to cook the shrimp and/or mussle.
Remember Im at home, so make it an easy recipe that doesnt require alot of special ingrediants.
Also what else would you cook with the shrimp and mussle?
Salad?
Mashed Potatoes?
Other?
Thanx everyone

Make this it is soooo good. Serve with brown rice or a good bread. If you don't have to worry about clam juice, if you are adding the mussels.

Big Ed's Cajun Shrimp Soup

INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup chopped green bell
pepper
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 clove garlic, minced
3 cups tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
1 (8 ounce) bottle clam juice
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
3/4 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
hot pepper sauce to taste

DIRECTIONS:
1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Saute green bell pepper, onions, and garlic until tender. Stir in vegetable juice, clam juice, and water. Season with thyme, basil, red pepper, bay leaf, and salt. Bring to a boil, and stir in rice. Reduce heat, and cover. Simmer 15 minutes, until rice is tender.
2. Stir in shrimp, (ADD MUSSELS HERE) and cook 5 minutes, or until shrimp are opaque. Remove the bay leaf, and season with hot sauce.

I would just set the seafood into a container with a little water brought to a boil, and steam.

Sides - I would use rice and a salad.

you can steam the shell fish and put it over a pasta with butter, garlic, parsley, and grated cheese.... I would serve a salad and bread

how about put the the seafood over pasta,

Simmer seafood in a tomato marinara sauce with garlic and sweet basil...serve on a thin spaghetti with a side salad.

rice and a light salad
