How would I go about making spaghetti and some tasty spaghetti sauce to go with it?!
1 lbs. of Anthony's spaghetti
2 lbs. lean ground beef
6 cans Contadina Tomato Sauce
2 small Pks of Lawry's Spaghetti Sauce Mix
1 small yellow onion (chopped)
1 crushed garlic clove
seasoned salt
coarse ground pepper
Boil the spaghetti Noodles in a large pot until tender...you can throw one against the wall and if it sticks its done. Then drain using a strainer so the water goes down the drain but the noodles do not.
Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion.
Add the tomato sauce, crushed garlic, seasoned salt and coarse ground pepper. Mix well.
Now add the seasoning packet from Lawrys.
Finally, you can either pour the meat mixture over the noodles and mix together.
OR...
You can pour the noodles into a serving bowl and pour the meat mixture on top.
Enjoy!

I've tried various recipes for homemade spaghetti sauce, and my family always begs for Ragu. I just had to accept that I couldn't compete with years of experience and a test kitchen
I buy a small can of tomato sauce, an even smaller can of garlic tomato paste, then warm it up , adding garlic butter (i love garlic), onion salt, chopped onion and green pepper (if using right away), a little parmesan cheese, parsley and cayane pepper (once i used salsa when i was out of cayane, though)
This stores in an airtight container for about 3 weeks, give it a good stir before you use it though.
