Question: i use clear or not? the icing im making calls for clear, but what if im going to color the icing with food coloring anyway?

It won't matter a bit.........especially if you're adding food color to the frosting.......Enjoy!!!

Doesn't matter! The only kind I use is brown, I've never had a problem; it's all the same!

It won't make any difference in the flavor, like you said you are going to color it anyway. The color is the only difference between regular vanilla extract and the clear. Ice Away !!

It doesn't matter. It blends in well.

the common vanilla is dark brown even if you add to all the white you must still contend with off white of your frosting..
I have not seen clear vanilla in my city of 2000

What matter is the purity of the vanilla. Pure extract is more expensive but worth the flavour.

Doesn't matter. Just make sure you buy real vanilla and not the fake stuff.
