Side Dish Question?!
Answers: What would be a good side dish for a ham/turkey dinner that wouldn't take long to make and easy to carry to a work function?
How about a pasta salad dish. Its easy.. all you need is noodles maybe a can of kidney beans, some olives, celery and carrots if you want maybe some chopped up green or red peppers for color.. and i put some Italian robusto dressing for a little spice.. its yummy.. easy to bring around and guess what you dont' have to heat it up..

I make ham or roast beef roll ups, tortillas cream cheese scallions, garlic, salt and pepper, seasonings,, etc.. roll them up and cut into 1 inch slices,,

How about a rice florentine dish....rice with spinach.
Buy stouffer's macaroni & cheese...frozen in a huge family size pan. I think it's like $7.00 for the whole pan. Bake it and take it.
Slow Cooker Mac & Cheese
1 12 oz. can evaporated skim milk
1 1/2 cups half and half
1/2 cup egg substitute (or 1 egg beaten)
8 oz. uncooked elbow macaroni
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1/2 tsp. pepper
Combine evaporate skim milk, half and half, egg substitute, macaroni, 3 1/2 cups of cheese, and pepper in slow cooker and mix well. Sprinke remaining cheese on top. Cover and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours.

This is a great recipe especially for those on a low carb or weight watchers diet.
Cut 1 head of cauliflower up into florets, remove the majority of the stem. Then steam them with salt, pepper, onion powder and 2 cloves of garlic. I generally just put them in the mic in a covered dish on medium high. I check it about every 5 minutes until they are tender. They need to be very tender. Then mash in 4 tbsp of low fat cream cheese, about 1/4 c. parm cheese and a little milk. Add the milk as you need to get them to a thick mashed potatoe consistency. It's so good and reheats well. Taste for seasoning, you might need to add a little more salt and pepper depending on the type of cheese you use.

You're best bet for easy is with potatoes, you just throw 'em the oven and wait it out.
Mased potatoes, some kind of casserole, some kind of salad, corn bread, baked potatoes w/ bacon, corn, and sour cream, just a simple rice dish, pasta dish, or mac & cheese dish!!! Any one of them could work!!!
