Peanut Butter Granola
1 1/2 cups Crunchy Peanut Butter.
1 cup brown sugar
1 can frozen concentrated apple juice.
10 cups of instant rolled oats.
1/2 cup of oil.
Mix the apple juice, peanut butter and oil in one container. Mix the oats and brown sugar in another container, until brown sugar is mixed in well. Add in the liquid ingredients and mix well with a spoon until it gets too thick, then I use my hands to mix, like a cookie dough. The granola mixture will be thick.

Spread on two cookie sheets, making sure to keep the Granola no more than an inch thick on the pan. Toast the Granola at 225 to 250 in the oven for an hour or so. You want it lightly toasted, not dark brown. You will probably have to turn the granola once during cooking. Keep an eye on it, it might not take the full hour. If you are careful turning you will have both tiny flakes and lumps (the lumps are good for snacking, and the tiny flakes are good for breakfast cereal with milk.) Let the Granola cool and put it in an airtight container. Can add nuts if you wish.

anytime i want to make something with ingredients i have on hand, i always check www.allrecipes.com

there's an option in the recipe finder where you can select soley based on the ingredients you have, and use the keyword (granola) you're looking for

not only that, you can tell if a recipe is good or not based on (1) the number of stars it's awarded by people who have tried the recipe, (2) on the number reviews its gotten, and (3) can read people's reviews on the recipe. the reviews themselves are ranked, so you know if other people agree with certain opinions on the recipe.
