Grilling indoors?!

Question: At certain times you can't grill outdoors on a regular grill. I was wondering how do you grill indoors? I've heard of grill pans, tabletop grills ...
I'm confused, how do you grill inside?

I'm confused, how do you grill inside?

We purchased a grill pan with a domed cover for grilling inside and it is excellent for doing steaks, pork chops, boneless chicken breasts, etc. As with outdoor grilling, we get the grill pan searing hot, then reduce the heat to medium/medium high for indoor grilling.

For winter grilling outside (always grilling with the cover down) we use the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com. Enter the details about your grill (gas or charcoal), the items you will be grilling, doneness you want and the outside temperature. It will calculate the grilling time, taking all of these things into account.

For consistent results indoors or outdoors, we always allow steaks and pork chops to stand at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before grilling and let everything rest for 5 minutes after grilling to keep things nice and juicy (recommended by many grilling recipes).

Hope this helps.

You can buy a grill for indoor use I actually found one at Wal*Mart for $5 one day and it was the best $5 I've ever spent and I use the grill all the time!

it depend on what type of grill you have the only grill I know that you can use outdoors and indoors but you must have a good ventalation to use it indoors.

You can use an electric grill indoors.

Gas or charcoal grills will poison the air you breath (they emit a lot of toxins such CO) potentially killing everyone inside.

If you have a way of ventilating the indoor area where you want to grill (we are talking a major exhaust fan that would also suck out all your heat in the house) than you could grill inside.

A covered porch or deck area would be good.

same as you would outside but you need a fan and ventilation, never grill indoors using charcoal though, it kills

electric grill. get it at kmart, waltmart or meijers
