Can you help me out with a recipe for pizza sauce?!
1 large can tomato puree (29 oz.)
1 small can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1/2 cup salad oil
2 tablespoons grated parmesan
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
Mix together and spread over pizza dough.

i just throw stuff in til it tastes good. lots of rosemary, basil, some celery seed, etc.
Take some small vine tomatos, dice, but keep the skin on, simmer for 2 hours. Add salt to taste, blend in a food processor, simmer again for an hour, let to thinken.
If U want it FAST, use a jar of Spaghetti Sauce, add a teaspoon of Oregano...heat it up...Presto!

Personally I find the pizza sauce to be too strong and use spaghetti sauce instead. Use only 1 cup of water to make the sauce thicker for pizza.
SPAGHETTI SAUCE
3/4 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. salad oil (vegetable oil) *
2 1lb. cans Italian tomatoes
2 (6 oz. each) cans tomato paste
2 c. water
1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. dried parsley
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1-1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
In Dutch oven, saute onions and garlic in hot oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well. Cook on low heat for two hours. Stir sauce often. Freeze any sauce you do not use.
NOTE: Do not use corn oil.
2 large cans tomato sause
1 cup water
1/4 garlic
dash of sugar
random herbs/spices......basil, chilli pepper, oregano, whatever suites your fancy
mix, and enjoy!
PIZZA SAUCE
1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp. Italian herbs
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
PIZZA:
1 loaf frozen bread dough
Top with pizza sauce, hamburger/sausage, onion, Mozzarella cheese (lots), Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
