Anyone have the most calorie-dense Magic Bar recipe?!

Question: Please, do share! ;^D

That's so funny, I got really excited when I saw your post, as I knew the answers would also answer the question your post raised for me, what is a "Magic Bar"? I know it must be some awesome miracle dessert that I've never tried, lol, so imagine my surprise when they turned out to be what my family calls seven layer cookies.

My mom started making these at a restaurant she worked at when I was a kid (and quite frankly, were the only desserts she did well, lol), so I grew up with them.

I made them the week before Thanksgiving, actually. Your safest bet is to stick with the recipe that Eagle Brand Milk gives, but if you go to the Taste of Home website (www.tasteofhome.com) and search using the term seven layer bars, you'll find some yummy looking variations of the recipe.

Here's my favorite one!

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND? Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
