Peanut Butter Balls. They are small, delicious, and really easy to make. Also, this recipe makes a pretty good bit of p.b. balls.
**Personally, I prefer to use creamy peanut butter because then the inside of the balls tastes and feels like the inside of a Reese's**

* 12 ounces peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
* 1 cup butter (real)
* 1 box confectioners' sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 package chocolate chips or Chocolate brick (for dipping balls)

1. Mix peanut butter, butter, sugar and vanilla. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet, place in freezer for an hour. Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Dip balls into mixture. Cool.

Im not good at making candy, just eating it. I love ribbon candy- anybody have a recipe for it?

peanut brittle, almond brittle, macadamia brittle...all good, just change the nuts

Chocolates.

Place white chocolate chips in a glass or stainless steel dish over a pot with just a little boiling water in it. Stir chocolate until it melts. Use it to coat pretzels or oreos. Yum.

Pecan fudge, divinity (with and without pecans), peanut brittle, almond brittle, caramel corn with peanuts.

The brittles are super easy if you use a microwave recipe. I found mine on the internet.

chocolates

The easiest to make would be lollipops, caramels, or taffies. I find that for beginners peppermints and candy canes would be a little to advanced.

By far one of the easiest candies to make are chocolate truffles, and people nearly fall off their chairs when they try one. They make wonderful gifts..I love spiking them with different flavoured liquors like Chambord, Triple Sec, Amarretto, etc.).
Here's a great recipe if you'd like to try them:

Peppermint Bark--easy to make and looks very festive. It's really yummy! I made it with my neice and nephew (ages 8 and 5) and when I called the next day, the family had eaten it all up already!

12 oz. white chocolate morsels
24 peppermint candies, unwrapped

Place the peppermint candies in a resealable plastic bag and hammer away at them with a meat tenderizer or rolling pin until they are all crushed, but leave a lot of pea-sized pieces. Set these aside.

Put the white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and melt in the microwave--you don't need to melt them all the way--they will completely melt as you stir them.

Take your peppermint crumbs/powder and use a strainer to get the smaller powderlike candy into the white chocolate, save the bigger pieces.

Stir the mixture and then spread it about an 1/8 or 1/4 inch thick on a waxed paper lined baking sheet or large tray. Then sprinkle the larger leftover pieces of candy on the top of the spread out chocolate. Put the tray in the fridge for 30 minutes. Then break the chocolate into bite-size pieces.

VERY YUMMY!
