I hate spaghetti, but everyone else loves it. What can I put in it to make it better? Like vegtables? Meat?!

Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients-
1 spaghetti squash, halved lengthwise and seeded
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes
3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
3 tablespoons sliced black olives
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil


Preparation-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Place spaghetti squash cut sides down on the prepared baking sheet, and bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a sharp knife can be inserted with only a little resistance. Remove squash from oven, and set aside to cool enough to be easily handled.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Saute onion in oil until tender. Add garlic, and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes, and cook only until tomatoes are warm.
Use a large spoon to scoop the stringy pulp from the squash, and place in a medium bowl. Toss with the sauteed vegetables, feta cheese, olives, and basil. Serve warm.

Veggies you can add would be yellow or green squash/zuchinni.

Taste is subjective, if you don't like it, so what?
There are a hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of different sauce recipes. I like mine thick with a hint of sweet, no chunks, and I don't like it mixed with my pasta, I put it on top, more noodles than sauce.
Figure out what you DO like and learn how to make it that way.
To cut down on the acidity, probably what you consider "strong", add some sugar. Carrots also will help, you can even shred them up and add them in, or use big chunks and just take them out before you eat.
I also use a mix of ground beef and ground sausage and most of the time make meatballs out of them.

You make it into a simple vodka sauce by adding a ?cup of Vodka & heavy cream to the sauce.

You can add various pizza toppings. Pepperoni, sausage, I've even heard of people adding pineapple & anchovies to spaghetti.

But in the end, if you don't like it, don't eat it.

Use a quality brand and do not over cook.

Put cream in it!!

We actually cube up kielbasa(we use the hot kind), peppers and onions...mix it all together and add real parm:)

Well for me, I take the easy route. I buy jar sauce, like classico...then sautee some onions and garlic in some olive oil, add italian sausage (removed from casing), brown it up, drain the grease and add the jar of sauce.

If you do not like strong flavors, maybe you should just stick to some butter and parmesan cheese on your noodles....

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup chopped yellow onion (1 onion)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 pounds sweet Italian turkey sausage, casings removed
1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes in tomato puree
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, divided
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoons kosher salt
3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 pound lasagna noodles
15 ounces ricotta cheese
3 to 4 ounces creamy goat cheese, crumbled
1 cup grated Parmesan, plus 1/4 cup for sprinkling
1 extra-large egg, lightly beaten
1 pound fresh mozzarella, thinly sliced

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Heat the olive oil in a large (10 to 12-inch) skillet. Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes over medium-low heat, until translucent. Add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Add the sausage and cook over medium-low heat, breaking it up with a fork, for 8 to 10 minutes, or until no longer pink. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, 2 tablespoons of the parsley, the basil, 1 1/2 teaspoons of the salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Simmer, uncovered, over medium-low heat, for 15 to 20 minutes, until thickened.

Meanwhile, fill a large bowl with the hottest tap water. Add the noodles and allow them to sit in the water for 20 minutes. Drain.

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta, goat cheese, 1 cup of Parmesan, the egg, the remaining 2 tablespoons of parsley, remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Set aside.

Ladle 1/3 of the sauce into a 9 by 12 by 2-inch rectangular baking dish, spreading the sauce over the bottom of the dish. Then add the layers as follows: half the pasta, half the mozzarella, half the ricotta, and one 1/3 of the sauce. Add the rest of the pasta, mozzarella, ricotta, and finally, sauce. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of Parmesan. Bake for 30 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling

If you are cooking it put in what ever you love. Maybe you just have not found a good recipe.

I think spaghetti tastes completely different if you add sausage. You can go half ground beef and half sausage- use the breakfast type sausage in a 1lb plastic wrap (like you’d cut for sausage patties). It also has a different taste if instead of ground beef, you use Italian sausage. Remove the casings and brown. I always add diced carrots to the spaghetti with Italian sausage. Here’s a recipe that different from your regular spaghetti-

INGREDIENTS
6 ounces uncooked angel hair pasta
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 jar (14 ounces) meatless spaghetti sauce
1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

SERVINGS 6-8

DIRECTIONS
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Add eggs and Parmesan cheese. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-in. deep-dish pie plate. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook the beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

Between two pieces of waxed paper, roll out cream cheese into a 7-in. circle. Place in crust. Top with spinach and meat sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350° for 20-30 minutes or until set.

eww do NOT put chicken boy in it...

I suggest you try some fettichini pasta and a different sauce. Also add some mozz, or parm cheese.
